Does mulch have to be maintained?
Yes, mulch here and there can get blown away or fall out, and occasionally does require a few bags of mulch to keep the area covered and plump. Luckily, the material itself is very inexpensive and doesn't require much labor.
What type of mulch do you plant?
We like to plant shredded mulch like gorilla hair mulch as it is very lightweight and inexpensive, but we are happy to plant whatever special option you'd like.
