Block Walls: Block retaining walls are the standard for most residential homes and commercial jobs in landscape. This is because the installation process is straight forward and simple, and block walls are effective and reliable. Block retaining walls are also more customizable than other options with accent rows, caps, and color of block.

Boulder Walls: A little less expensive than block, boulder retaining walls offer size and aesthetic in a landscape, and make a property seem natural and rustic, perfect if that's your style.

Drainage: Our retaining walls are equipped with a drainage pipe at the base of where they've been installed. This pipe runs along the back of the retaining wall with little holes that extend away from the retaining wall, leading water away from the property or to a nearby river bed.

Should I choose Block or Boulder retaining walls?

This depends on your goals and landscape budget. Boulder walls are more affordable and can give a natural look, but block walls are the standard in most commercial projects, and are more customizable, so it subjective depending on your needs!

Does my landscape need retaining walls?

Not always actually, some property's elevations are done in a way that doesn't require any retaining walls at all! But when they are needed, it's usually to help the elevations stabilize and create usable space for the project, insuring your land's foundations stays sturdy and stable for many years to come.

Does installing retaining walls require any permits or special permission?

Not really, HOA approval will usually be enough for the project. The local rules for most walls is that if they go past 4' high, then they have to be reported and inspected by an engineer, but residential walls rarely go past this limit, but if it is a special case, we will follow all the regulations and inspections to make sure your project is completed and allowed.
